They use formal diction because since many people read news, so by using formal dictions it helps to show that they know what they are talking about. But tone the .The purpose of this article is to talk about what's happening so far with the banning of transgender in workplace. And how it's actually extending to schools too they are advising to no longer let students use the bathroom of their choice. I feel like the topic is absolutely stupid. Like does it really matter what transgender want to do with their life. But anyway, the way the authors write the article makes it seem like they have no emotional attachment to this issue. It was as if they just didn't care it was like they were just writing it cause they were told to. Pathos was used in the article because this used an emotional because this is discrimination towards the LGBTQ community. While this is just mainly about transgender doesn't mean that everyone else won't be affected by it. the author organizes the article by introducing the main topic, then they talk about the what's happening about the topic, and what the government is going to do about it. I personally do not support this topic. I don't support this topic because I personally have no problem with anyone in the LGBTQ community. Because I feel that if they have not cause harm or damage to me then why cause it upon someone who hasn't done anything. One adjective I would use to describe this article is cruel. I choose that word because how they are treating people who are different is unbelievable. All because someone is different doesn't mean they are something you should fear or even criticize.
